The photograph above displays the results of a few more hours working on the chair. Got the front posts shaved, rungs were dried to about 8% moisture, and pieces assembled. It is starting to actually look like a chair and not so much a pile of sticks. I am learning a lot from this build and it is hard to not look forward to the next one. I have to make myself slow down at times and enjoy the project that is taking place in the present; hand tool work really helps facilitate this, which is why I love it so much.
Quick tip: (as stated above) Slow down mentally and physically and live in the current build, really enjoy the work in front of you.
